C/Senior Master Sergeant. Estevez, Jose:
Cadet Estevez’s position is Chief of Logistics in the AFJROTC program here in William L. Dickinson High School. Logistics is in charge of managing personnel and uniforms such as the blues uniform, ABU’s, ribbons and ranks. Cadet Estevez joined AFJROTC his freshman year and has made an impact all the way into his senior year. He joined the program curious to see what it would be like to join a military program and ended up loving it. Like many, Estevez has an inspiration that encourages him to keep going and his father is the one to do that for him.
All Estevez wants is to make his dad proud as he has to work hard everyday for what they
have. Following high school, Estevez is looking to become a commercial pilot. His love for planes formed when he joined the flight simulator class provided by the JROTC program. One of his biggest accomplishments is the fact that he has been doing great for himself as a cadet, student, and student-athlete as he plays baseball, and being able to say that he has made his parents proud. Needless to say, Estevez is a hardworking person and an outstanding cadet, and we are glad to deem him October’s Cadet of The Month.
