Cadet Airman Basic Zou is a recent addition to the AFJROTC program at William L. Dickinson High School, having joined as a sophomore this school year. Engaged in the Fundraising team, Zou has shown remarkable progress since the start of the school year. Her interest in the program started from a desire for experience and a genuine curiosity about potential military career paths. Zou, an incredible extrovert, finds joy in connecting with fellow cadets and friends, making interactive events such as D&C and competitions her favorite parts of the program. To her, AFJROTC isn't just a program but a supportive family. Her proudest achievement so far is being recognized as the cadet of the month, a representation of her amazing progress and dedication. The Firebirds, the AFJROTC unit, have significantly impacted Zou's life, providing a positive direction towards her future. Introduced to the program by an upperclassman cadet, she is inspired daily to continue learning and growing under the guidance of the AFJROTC instructor MSgt Aguilera. Zou's outgoing nature and commitment makes her a deserving recipient of the December Cadet of The Month award, reflecting her exceptional growth and contribution to the AFJROTC community.
